Over the past several weeks we have been closely monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. As the number of new cases continues to rise and the length of the shelter-in-place restrictions lengthens, PDK International has decided that the PDK2020 and Educators Rising National Conference will be cancelled for 2020. We are currently evaluating options for holding virtual competitions and will notify everyone of the status by the first week in May.

Anyone who has already paid the registration fee can receive a full refund. We will begin issuing refunds over the next two weeks. Credit card refunds will be credited to the card used in the initial payment. Payments made by check will be refunded to the primary registrant. Please contact rmintier@pdkintl.org by April 27, if you would like to donate all or a percentage of your refund to PDK International. Donations will be used to help sustain PDK’s programs that engage educators and strengthen schools, so that all students thrive. If we do not hear from you by April 27, you will automatically be refunded. If you have already made your hotel reservation, please contact the Marriott Marquis directly at 855-821-4281 to cancel.

Please understand that this was a difficult decision and we are aware of the disappointment that this may cause. However, we feel that the health and safety of our participants and staff are of utmost importance. We hope that you will plan to join us next year.
