Dr. Rick Kolowski is currently a State Senator in Nebraska who is entering his 7th year in that position. He retired from public education in 2008 after 41 years of service to his community. He is a life member of PDK and he continues to be an active member of his local chapter – the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
He served on the PDK Board of Directors from 1989 – 2003, and was International President from 1999 – 2001. As a State Senator he serves on the Education, Natural Resources and Retirement Systems Committees.
He and his wife Bonnie (also a Kappan) have two sons and five grandchildren.
