Biography

Dr. Reginald Johnson is the Chief Program Officer at PDK International, where he supports the divisions of Educators Rising and Education Partnerships to ensure all students have the opportunity to thrive. With a deep understanding of teaching and learning at the system and school levels, Reggie leads PDK’s efforts to advance the teaching profession and help school districts effectively organize its board policies, administrative regulations, and professional practices focused on equitable student outcomes.

Prior to joining PDK, Reggie served as a school leader in the School District of Philadelphia where he led transformation efforts in several underserved communities by expanding access to high quality curriculum, redesigning teacher professional development, and creating an exceptional student experience. With a unique set of professional experiences, Reggie’s career has spanned over 20 years, he has been an executive leadership consultant, psychotherapist, athletic trainer, and teacher. Across these roles, Reggie has translated his core values into practice with an emphasis on leading through learning and developing the capacity of others.

Reggie holds a Doctor of Education Leadership (EdLD) from Harvard University, a school leadership certificate from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in clinical psychology from La Salle University, a master’s degree in education from Wilkes University, and a bachelor’s degree in health science from Bloomsburg University.
