Let’s build a brighter future together

Give to PDK International

Donate Now!

Gifts from Phi Delta Kappa, Pi Lambda Theta, Educators Rising members, and other generous individuals and organizations help to sustain PDK’s programs that engage educators and strengthen schools, so that all students thrive.

Scholarships for Educators

We invest in the future of education by awarding 100+ scholarships a year to individuals interested in pursuing a career in education. Scholarships are available for high school students, college students, and individuals pursuing advanced degrees.

Educators Rising

Through the Educators Rising Curriculum, a national conference, leadership opportunities, and more, we inspire and guide 20,000+ young people on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college and into the profession.

Kappan Magazine

For more than 100 years, PDK has published Phi Delta Kappan magazine, enriching new and veteran teachers, graduate students, school and district administrators, university faculty members, and policy makers with articles about K-12 educational research, practice, and policy on a wide range of themes.

PDK Poll

For more than 50 years, the annual PDK Poll has examined the public’s attitudes toward public schools. The results are free to access and are used by researchers, education policy makers, and educators across the country to guide planning and action in their communities.

Ways to Give

Our individual gifts – no matter the size – add up over time and, collectively, allow PDK International to serve educators nationally and even internationally, so that all students thrive. Here’s how to get involved:

Unrestricted Donation

Unrestricted donations provide us with the flexible funding we need to invest in areas that will make the greatest impact. By not designating your gift, you give the PDK International Board of Directors the flexibility to direct your generous contribution to the area of greatest need.

Join the George H. Reavis Giving Society

Individuals who give cumulative gifts totaling $1,000 or more are recognized as members of our George H. Reavis Giving Society, named after the generous donor who established the first fund for PDK International’s philanthropic efforts. The giving societies provide a structure by which to recognize our supporters for their loyal and generous gifts.

Establish a Scholarship Fund

Members and friends are invited to establish an endowed scholarship program through PDK International to support the next generation of educators. Email scholarships@pdkintl.org or contact us at 800-766-1156 to learn more about how you can have a lasting legacy.

Facebook Fundraiser

Are you on Facebook? You can easily create a fundraiser for Educators Rising, our program that is cultivating highly skilled educators by guiding young people on the path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school. Get started!

Make a Planned Gift

Many PDK members and friends choose to make gifts to PDK within their estate plans. These gifts are made via their wills, trusts, annuities, insurance policies, or retirement plan assets. Contact us at 800-766-1156 to learn more about making a gift and becoming a member of the Heritage Society.

Donate your Unused Vehicle

PDK makes car donation easy! Simply call 855-500-RIDE or 855-500-7433 to have your vehicle towed at no cost to you. Your tax write-off will be equal to the sale price of the vehicle. Learn more.
